OBLIVION HEAVY ARMOR TRAINER HOW TO
This build guide explains how to create an oblivion character that focuses on a maximum magicka class. This modification was created for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Shivering Isles (v120416) & Oblivion Script Extender (v0020). Attributes are now capped at seven unless they are favored attributes of the class. But then there are Vampire Battlemages that spawn with leveled Light Armor, leaning them towards a sort of Arena/Daggerfall style Battlemage. There are battlemage NPCs who wear heavy armor and mage hoods as a sort of uniform - beloning to the Imperial Legion Battlemages as such. If you want something tankish, use heavy, otherwise stick with light to be more mobile and have more carry capacity. For birthsign, The Mage for extra magicka. However, light armor protects me in those up-close battles, and is an actual skill which would help in leveling up. You do not need a shield to benefit from the master perk.
OBLIVION HEAVY ARMOR TRAINER SKIN
Your light armor is like a second skin after all those days and weeks wearing it. And all that works out to a pretty good balance of weight and protection, and the combination of leather boots, iron greaves, leather cuirass and iron gauntlets looks pretty good too.Category page. A heavy cuirass, on the other hand, might weigh 20 or more pounds more than a light one, so they generally get a light cuirass. Then I'm likely to use heavy greaves and heavy gauntlets, because the weight difference between light and heavy isn't that great - heavy gauntlets might weigh only a couple of pounds more than their light counterparts, and heavy greaves maybe half a dozen more pounds. So - pretty much any character who gets mixed armor gets light boots. AND there's one important issue with low level characters - heavy boots give them a sneak penalty that light boots don't give them. lighter, which is often important, particularly for low level characters with little strength and little to no assistance from feather or strength buffs. In part that's because heavy armor generally offers a bit more protection if the skill levels are pretty close to the same, and is a bit more durable, and in part that's because increasing heavy armor provides points toward endurance bonuses, which I'd generally rather have than the speed bonuses that come from increasing light armor. My lower-level characters wear mixed armor often. So there's really no reason to concern yourself with where you place particular bits of armor on that account. If there's some very obvious reason to place a hit at one part of your body, then it will generally place it there and thus damage that armor part (for instance, being attacked by a rat is more likely to do damage to your boots, or blocking will do damage to your shield), but if there isn't an obvious reason to attach damage to a particular part of the armor, it appears to just assign it randomly.
